Jack3d Bodybuilding
The big concern in Jack3d bodybuilding and drug tests is that it contains 1,3 dimethylamylamine. This is also known as DMAA or Germanamine, and it’s based off of germanium extract (for more information, see the Jack3d Ingredients page).
While 1,3 dimethylamylamine is completely legal, it behaves like a very mild amphetamine in your body. Rumors have been circling Internet discussion forums that Jack3d has caused false positives for amphetamines during drug tests. These statements are nothing but RUMORS. It is simply FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt) being spread around from competitive supplement company reps who are worried about USPLabs’ Jack3d explosive growth.
1,3 Dimethylamylamine doesn’t convert into a amphetamine metabolite, and there are no accidentally-mixed amphetamines whatsoever in Jack3d.
If you are currently being drug-tested and use Jack3d bodybuilding, we highly encourage you to speak to your sponsor about the 1,3 dimethylamylamine content, but it will NOT cause amphetamine false-positives according to USP and several doctors that have been polled.
However, if you are playing in a sport which tests for stimulants, you still may have issues, because Jack3d has obvious stimulants in it. Professional, amateur and collegiate athletes and bodybuilders may be at risk.
It’s interesting to note that the 2009-2010 NCAA banned substances list contains nearly ALL stimulants, including caffeine, so Jack3d may not a good idea for strict NCAA athletes.
On the other hand, we have to believe that NCAA athletes are already using caffeine. Is it seriously tested for? Probably not, since it goes through the system quite quickly. As for 1,3 dimethylamylamine, it is not on the NCAA banned substance list, so you are only taking a small chance here.
Don’t take our word for it, but NCAA athletes can probably get away with Jack3d bodybuilding so long as you don’t have it in your urine during your test.
Jack3d does give you a performance boost – I can tell when I am lifting and swimming. Even though Jack3d bodybuilding is safe, please make sure that this performance boost isn’t going to ruin your career or collegiate eligibility.
